
Fresh Fruit Salad & Mint recipe
This vibrant fruit salad is a refreshing and healthy treat, perfect for warm summer days. With a mix of fresh, juicy fruits and a hint of aromatic mint, it’s incredibly easy to make! Packed with popular seasonal fruits, this colourful recipe works as a snack, side dish, or light dessert. You can also add a drizzle of honey for just the right amount of sweetness!
Why this salad is special
It’s easy to make a fruit salad, right? It sure is, but perfecting one is another matter. This mix of fruit has been specifically chosen, and the amounts have been carefully considered so that it all comes together to create a wonderful fruit salad that’s easy to make and incredibly delicious.
Ingredients:
- 150g strawberries
- 150g blueberries
- 150g green grapes
- ½ pineapple
- 1 kiwi
- 1 banana
- 1 grapefruit
- 1/2 lemon
- 8g fresh mint leaves
- 1-2 tbsp honey (optional)

Start by washing and preparing all your fruit. Cut the kiwi into thin circles (removing the skin if you prefer), slice the strawberries, halve the grapes, chop the banana, and dice the pineapple into bite-sized chunks (avoiding the core).

Remove the mint leaves from the stems. Finely chop the leaves into small pieces so they can be evenly distributed throughout the salad.

In a large bowl, combine all the prepared fruits and mint. Gently toss them together so they’re evenly mixed.

Squeeze the juice from the grapefruit and lemon, then pour it over the fruit mixture. For added sweetness, you can drizzle in some honey to taste. Gently mix the fruit salad to evenly coat the fruit with the citrus juice and honey.

For the best flavour, refrigerate the salad for about 5 minutes before serving. This allows the ingredients to cool and blend together, making it even more refreshing.

Serve your mint fruit salad in smaller bowls. You can garnish it with a few extra mint leaves for a pretty touch if you wish.
